Which category?

[edit]

OK, so next public opinon poll: Category:Dog types or Category:Dog breeds? Huh, I think I just answered my own question--BOTH, really, since it represents both. Am doing the same for Collie and Foxhound. Elf | Talk 03:56, 11 Aug 2004 (UTC)

That sounds fine to me Elf -- sannse (talk) 21:55, 11 Aug 2004 (UTC)

German correction

[edit]

Just for Info: Schnauzer is not the German word for nose but for mustache. -- de:Benutzer:Bierdimpfl (Germany)

I've corrected this in the article. thanks -- sannse (talk) 20:24, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Double negative nonsense.

[edit]

This sentence makes no sense:

"For working dogs that are ratters, these procedures don't give the rat anything to grab on to when being attacked and therefore cannot fight back."

I think the sense could be better conveyed as follows:

"In the case of dogs that are used as ratters, the reduction in size of ears and tail give the rat less to grab on to when fighting the dog." 81.101.157.221 (talk) 09:57, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
