Q1. Why is the article's name "Hall & Oates" and not "Daryl Hall & John Oates"?

This has been discussed many times. Please review the discussions below and those archived at the Talk:Hall & Oates/Archive 1 page. The related page-move discussions have showed a lack of consensus to change the name to the official name of the duo. Note that Wikipedia does not follow official names but common names for the titles.

This article must adhere to the biographies of living persons (BLP) policy, even if it is not a biography, because it contains material about living persons. Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous. Full names preferred

As stated in the 'Name' section on the page itself, the duo wanted to be called by their full names, not "Hall & Oates". Why are they listed here as "Hall & Oates"? 2600:8803:7680:3460:F534:7A9:B9B2:B4A4 (talk) 20:55, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
